Our extra-curricular highlights
Debating and public speaking
Students can develop their thinking, communication and teamwork skills through debating and public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.
These opportunities help students build confidence, express their ideas clearly and respectfully, listen to different perspectives and think critically. Students learn to prepare and present arguments, speak in front of an audience and work collaboratively as part of a team. Skills developed through debating and public speaking support students both in the classroom and beyond school.
Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.
Students are encouraged to explore their imagination, develop new skills and build confidence through a range of creative experiences. Opportunities in music, visual arts, performance and drama allow students to work individually and collaboratively, share their talents with others and take pride in what they create.
Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.
Throughout the year, students have opportunities to participate in excursions and educational experiences that bring classroom learning to life. Whether exploring history, science, culture, sport or the natural world, these experiences encourage curiosity, independence and teamwork while creating memorable learning opportunities beyond the school grounds.
